All’inizio del XXI secolo è fiorita una ricca stagione di studi dedicati al Nolano. Edizioni critiche e traduzioni di testi, indagini sulla fortuna, nuove interpretazioni e ricerche biografiche, monografie su aspetti peculiari del suo pensiero sono l’esito di un multiforme percorso di studio che ha visto affiancarsi varie generazioni di studiosi. Il volume illustra alcune delle prospettive di ricerca che si sono aperte negli ultimi anni e contiene una bibliografia bruniana dal 2001 al 2010.
